Sorry I haven' t been on a few days. It's been a rough week between sparse editing and being letting go of my job. Now, I can do regular updates and do the lines again, starting this weekend, until I land a new job. I hope to resume writing in Specimen this weekend and start new scenes in Cave-in, next week. I'll be dreaming new scenes, starting this weekend too, once I remember where I left off with.

Writing: No Stone Unturned

Words (Written Today): 8/5/12 1055, 8/6/12 1164, 8/7/12 1204, 8/8/12 1032, 8/9/12 1190, 8/10/12 1386

Words (Total as of Today): 8/5/12 52374, 8/6/12 53538, 8/7/12 54742, 8/8/12 55774, 8/9/12 56934, 8/10/12 58320

First Line (Written Today): Under the Mia Finch column, she wrote down her thoughts and her latest speculation—high school all-star swimming champion, not possible she drowned, murder/foul play involved.

Last Line (Written Today): But what if they discovered, that the “accidental drowning” of their loved ones was anything but…

Favorite Line (Written Today): Since she found out the connecting factor between both actresses, even so early on in this investigation, she’d gotten a leg up for sure than the other roving reporters.

Editing: Cave-in, Countdown to Zero, Dangerous Ground, Killer Wipeout, Web of Deceit

Pages/Hours (Edited Today): 1 hour

Pages/Hours (Total as of Today): Various for the week

First five pages of Chain Reaction fixed in chapter one.

Editing word counts: Killer Wipeout 107046 (10 words cut yesterday), Killer Wipeout 107056 (11 words cut on Tuesday), Killer Wipeout 107034 (12 words cut today) and Web of Deceit 107043 (12 words cut yesterday), Cave-in 100023 (13 words cut today) and Web of Deceit 107055 and 107030 (13 words cut on Tuesday and today), Dangerous Ground 121803 (30 words cut on 8/7/12), Dangerous Ground 121833 (32 words cut on 8/5/12), Countdown to Zero 122091 (34 words cut on 8/7/12), Countdown to Zero 122125 (44 words cut on 8/5/12), Dangerous Ground 121682 (51 words cut today), Countdown to Zero 121976 (52 words cut today), Countdown to Zero 122028 (63 words cut on 8/7/12), Dangerous Ground 121733 (70 words cut on 8/9/12),

Reading: Finished Hide, finishing the Lake House, reading Chosen to Die and The Jungle, starting Black Out.

Mood: So-so.
